I recently had the pleasure of dining at kesar restaurant (Leeds), and it was truly exceptional from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right balance of elegance and comfort. The staff were attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. The food was absolutely phenomenal. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Even the small details, like the fresh bread and the carefully curated drink menu, showed great thought and care. Service was prompt, and despite being busy, everything arrived at just the right time. It’s rare to find a restaurant that delivers both impeccable food and outstanding service. The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavour! The staff were friendly, approachable, and made the dining experience very pleasant. Portion sizes were generous and definitely worth the price. Outstanding food and specially curry test! We recently visited Kesar Restaurant for an event, and everything was perfect from start to finish. The food arrived on time, was beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how tasty everything was—especially the tandoor naan made authentically desi style.. The team was professional, accommodating with our special requests, and made the entire process stress-free. Highly recommend them for any event—big or small. We’ll definitely be ordering from them again!

The food was authentic and delicious! We tried the Samosa Chat and Tandoori prawns with fish curry and Chana Masala Curry! Everything was lovely! A great local addition….we will be back!

We stopped by Kesar for dinner and tried the Schezwan Fried Rice and Chicken Lollipop. Both dishes were impressive and clearly made with attention to flavor and detail. The Schezwan Fried Rice had a nice kick of spice without being overwhelming. The rice was cooked perfectly — not sticky or dry — and the mix of vegetables and chicken added great texture. It had that smoky “wok” flavor you hope for in good Indo-Chinese food. Every bite was balanced, and it didn’t feel heavy or greasy. The Chicken Lollipop was the highlight of the meal. The coating was crisp and well-seasoned, while the chicken inside stayed tender and juicy. The sauce that came with it was flavorful and spicy in the right way, enhancing the dish instead of overpowering it. It’s one of those appetizers you could easily order again just to snack on with drinks. The staff were friendly and attentive without hovering. Our food came out hot and fresh, and the overall service was smooth. The restaurant had a clean, pleasant atmosphere — simple but comfortable, the kind of place where you can relax and enjoy your meal without any fuss. Overall, Kesar turned out to be a really good find. The food quality, portion sizes, and service all lived up to expectations. If you’re looking for flavorful Indo-Chinese dishes done right, especially the Schezwan Fried Rice and Chicken Lollipop, this place is definitely worth visiting.

We just booked a table for 9 PM but somehow we managed to reach there by 9.30 PM & all the staff members were so polite and respectful they welcomed us and served the best food. Trust me I found the authentic Indian flavors after Soo long here at Kesar the Indian Restaurant. Thank You So Much Guys.

Popped in for a quick drink whilst I waited for my train. Really friendly, family run restaurant. I had a couple of pints of Cobra and they quickly made me some popcorn chicken before I had to leave for my train. The menu looked really good with a great selection and I will make sure I go back for a full meal. Lovely people, great decor and a nice feel to the place
